Let’s rewind to April 2017… I was on the verge of letting anxiety and low confidence spiral out of control. I was feeling completely lost, wondering what I really wanted to do with my life. At this point work was getting on top of me. I was having panic attacks and, despite looking like I had everything going for me, I was scared I was teetering on the edge of getting into a really bad place. I took control before it got any worse and started seeing a therapist. It was the best thing I have ever done!
Let’s quickly get one thing clear – you cannot get rid of deep rooted causes of anxiety overnight. I do still deal with it ongoing and have moments where anxiety takes hold, but I’ve learnt how to deal with it. I’m in control of my happiness.
I’ve been on a huge journey since then, which has led me to making some big decisions and taking scary chances. I learnt to deal with anxiety and built my confidence back up, but still felt lost in life. I didn’t want to look back regretting never truly doing what gives me that real buzz. If you don’t try you’ll never know, right? I’m embracing feeling the fear and doing it anyway and I’m going to be your coach, guiding you to do the same!
I’m going to impart all that fabulous wisdom I’ve gained on my journey to help you in whatever way it can. I want to empower those of you who feel lost to get clarity, build confidence and challenge your current mindset. I want you to look back on your life and think, f*** yeah, I’ve lived!
So come with me on this journey. We’ll have some laughs, probably shed a few tears and push through the fears. Think of me as your personal, pocket-sized cheerleader of a coach.
